Who is Michael?

Welcome to my website! I am Michael McElroy and have been working as a professional artist for over 25 years. I am originally from a small town in Tennessee where I was lucky enough to grow up watching all the great 80’s cartoons! Now I work from my home studio in Clermont, Florida where I get to create art for a living every day.

I studied Graphic Design and Illustration at the Memphis College of Art.

I have had great opportunities to travel the world and design toys and plush, seasonal décor and home décor for the US, Europe, and South America markets.

You can also find me working as a professional caricature artist on Walt Disney World property where I have been spotted for the past 20+ years. I also travel to special events all around the United States drawing caricatures. Conventions have been a favorite way of mine to meet fellow artists and passionate fans of art and pop culture! I bounce around the country setting up in different convention halls that feature my art. Come see me in person!

I’ve been very blessed to be able to draw and color for a living. My love is doing fan art of cartoon and movie characters that I watched growing up and have inspired me. This site is to showcase the fan art and offer custom shadowbox cel art in my whimsical style, found to be both fun filled and lighthearted.
